If it rained
Everytime I cried
The world would be happy

If it burnt
Everytime I got angry
The world would be ash

If it echoed
Everytime I screamed
The world would be deaf

If the sun brightened
Everytime I laughed
The world would be blind

If it took energy
Everytime I seeked vengeance
The world would be weak

If I carried on
Deep into thought
Deep into feeling
Even I would shed a tear...

Shannybae23 : I wrote this poem to capture how extreme we feel pain, happiness or anger. In writing it though, I realised how in some situations the world feels the opposite feelings to what you're feeling.
